Thanks so much to Editor George Fiala for coming out to I Made An Art!

We love Bone Gunn – we use their rehearsal space, they promote the hell out of us, and frankly we couldn’t do I Made An Art without them.

Recently two members of the band were interviewed by Hey Brooklyn, “a weekly podcast featuring interviews with creative people living and working in Brooklyn, New York.” They talked about the ideas behind I Made An Art and promoted our upcoming show on June 12th.

Check out the interview here.

Thanks Hey Brooklyn and Bone Gunn!

Our May show made Editor’s Pick in the New York Post:

Saturday, May 8
Ursine rock!
Our favorite teen punk rock trio, Care Bears On Fire, will storm Red Hook and question authority with their aggressive jams such as “Barbie Eat a Sandwich” and “Super Teen.” Since blasting onto the nascent Park Slope punk scene years ago, the teenagers have played Letterman and toured the east coast. Go see to the show so you can say you saw them before the inevitable sell-out.
8 pm. “Care Bears On Fire” at I Made An Art Gallery (53 Richards St. near Commerce Street in Red Hook). www.imadeanart.com.

Thanks guys!
